Planned Match Order For WWE Wrestlepalooza Revealed

With just hours to go until the inaugural WWE Wrestlepalooza premium live event, the current planned order for the five-match card has reportedly been revealed. The event, which marks the beginning of WWE’s new partnership with ESPN, already had its opening match and main event confirmed by the company earlier in the week. A new report from Bodyslam.net has now shed light on how the rest of the card is expected to unfold.

As previously announced, the show will kick off with a colossal encounter between John Cena and Brock Lesnar. This will be Lesnar’s first match in over two years and pits him against Cena. The show is scheduled to end with the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line, as Cody Rhodes makes the first defense of his second reign against Drew McIntyre. This main event was confirmed on the go-home episode of SmackDown.

According to the Bodyslam report, the match currently scheduled to follow the opener is the tag team clash between The Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) and the powerhouse duo from The Vision, Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed. Following that, the vacant Women’s World Championship will be decided in a match between Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer.

The semi-main event of the evening is slated to be a mixed tag team match, which will see the in-ring return of AJ Lee after a decade-long absence. She will team with her husband, CM Punk, to face their heated rivals, the husband-and-wife team of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.
