Plans changed for Ronda Rousey, Women’s Tag Team Title match at WWE WrestleMania is off

WrestleMania plans for Ronda Rousey have changed.

Rousey and Shayna Baszler were scheduled to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team titles at WrestleMania but that match is now off the card.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that Rousey is still on the show but she will be in a different match. Rousey is dealing with an arm injury but it’s not serious enough to keep her off Mania.

As of a few weeks ago, the plan was for Rousey and Baszler to win the Women’s Tag Team Titles. The match had been pushed internally by Rousey and it’s the reason why she dropped the SmackDown Women’s Title in December.

At this point, there is no word yet on what the new match is for Rousey or what the plans are for Bazler, if any, at WrestleMania.Click here for complete WWE Friday Night SmackDown results.
