Earlier this week on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that Brock Lesnar was expected back on WWE TV, possibly as soon as the Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant.
Today, after the sex trafficking lawsuit was filed against Vince McMahon and WWE with Lesnar named in the filing, there were questions about Lesnar’s status with the company going forward. Lesnar was expected to return in time to kick off his program for WrestleMania season.
Fightful Select is reporting, per a WWE source, that plans for his return may change. In other words, it looks less likely that he will be back for the Rumble or anytime soon. One has to wonder if we will ever see Lesnar back on WWE television after what was revealed in the lawsuit. For those of you who haven’t read up on it, click here to read the details.
