A new report from WrestleVotes has provided an update on a potential high-profile women’s match for this Saturday’s WWE Wrestlepalooza premium live event. The report addresses a matchup graphic that appeared on the official event t-shirt in Indianapolis, which features Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, and Jade Cargill. According to WrestleVotes, this match is indeed planned for the show, but it is contingent on the medical status of Tiffany Stratton.
In a post on X, WrestleVotes stated, “Asked a source about the Tiffany Stratton vs Nia Jax vs Jade Cargill matchup graphic on the official WrestlePalooza shirt in Indianapolis, they said the plan is to feature the match on the card, hence its placement.”
The report continued by noting the uncertainty surrounding the match. “However, it depends on Stratton’s status—she missed NXT Homecoming and remains TBD as of yesterday,” the post added. An official clarification on Stratton’s status and the match is expected to be made on tomorrow night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
The uncertainty stems from an announcement made earlier this week by NXT General Manager Ava, who stated that Stratton was “not medically cleared to compete” following her WWE Women’s Championship match against Jade Cargill on last week’s episode of SmackDown. As a result, Stratton was pulled from the NXT Homecoming event, where she was scheduled to compete in a six-woman tag team match.
The nature of Stratton’s injury has not been disclosed by the company. Best wishes to Stratton on a speedy recovery.
