It looks like The Headbangers are headed to Smackdown Live. They are the latest names from the past contacted to return. There’s no word on if they have signed full-time deals but they will be back on Tuesday, according to Facebook posts from Chaz “Mosh” Warrington and Glenn “Thrasher” Ruth. It appears that they will be used as opponents for the tag team title tournament. The idea behind bringing back veterans is to get some of the current talent over and to cut down on 50/50 booking.
Warrington wrote, “Ever since Tyler was old enough to realize and understand that I wrestle, I’ve had a dream/wish. That dream/wish was to wrestle one more time in a WWE Ring so he could see it. This dream/wish will cole true this Tuesday night in Dallas, Tx!!! I will be on WWE’s Smackdown Live Show on the USA Network!! Not only will he see me in ring but he’ll be able to watch it Live on TV!! This is truly a dream come true for me and I’m beyond excited!!!”
Tag team partner Glen “Thrasher” Ruth also confirmed on his Facebook page that they would be wrestling on Tuesday’s Smackdown Live. You can check out both posts below:
