Positive News On Bron Breakker After WWE Raw Injury Scare

Bron Breakker has reportedly avoided a major injury scare following the conclusion of Monday Night Raw. Bryan Alvarez reports that the WWE medical team checked Breakker out backstage after the show, and he has been cleared.

The injury concern stemmed from a moment during the main event match between Breakker and CM Punk. In the heat of the match, Breakker attempted a Frankensteiner off the top rope. However, a miscommunication during the move caused Breakker to land badly on impact. Despite the scary fall, Alvarez confirmed the positive update on his status.

The World Heavyweight Championship match had been the focal point of the show, promoted heavily for weeks with Breakker and Punk exchanging heated words leading up to the bell. As many WWE fans expected, the match saw interference from Breakker’s faction, The Vision. The group came out to sway the match in Bron’s favor, but were eventually thwarted by the arrival of Rey Mysterio, Penta, and Dragon Lee, who evened the odds.

Once the outside interference was neutralized, the match turned into a competitive back-and-forth affair. Both men traded submission holds, and in a spot, Breakker launched off the top rope to send Punk crashing through a table. In the end, Punk prevailed. As Breakker looked to hit his signature spear, Punk countered with a knee strike and followed up with the GTS to secure the victory and retain his title.
