Positive News on WWE’s Cora Jade After Injury Scare

Cora Jade seemingly sustained an injury during her NXT match against Jordynne Grace, resulting in an abrupt stoppage on Tuesday night.

During the bout, Grace moved Jade into the corner, at which point Jade communicated with the referee. The match was halted, and Lilian Garcia announced that Jade could not continue, awarding Jordynne Grace the victory via referee stoppage.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that they were told it was a head injury, not a knee injury. Jade posted on social media that her knees are all good. She added that she ‘got rocked for a sec’ during the match.

After suffering a torn ACL in January 2024 and spending most of the year recovering, Jade returned to NXT in October, aiding Roxanne Perez in a title match defense. At Vengeance Day, Jade competed in a fatal four-way NXT Women’s Championship match, but was unable to win the title from new champion Giulia, in a match that also included Perez and Bayley.
