Huge WWE Survivor Series spoilers, big name returning to action (updated)

Survivor Series is coming up on us fast and there are some new developments of what fans can expect at the annual November Big Four pay-per-view event.

The show in Houston on November 19th might also spell the return of an Olympic Hero to a WWE ring once again. After all, since Kurt Angle’s insertion into the main event at WWE TLC, it seems like only a matter of time before fans see him back in the ring.

PWInsider Elite provided an audio update where Mike Johnson provided several updates surrounding the next big WWE pay-per-view event.

“Kurt Angle is returning to the ring again on Sunday, November 19th at the Survivor Series pay-per-view. Kurt Angle will be the captain of Team Raw, the men’s team when they go and face the SmackDown team. And I am told that we’re gonna see Kurt Angle locking up with one of his most famous opponents because the captain of Team SmackDown is scheduled to be Shane McMahon.”

“So obviously this brings back King Of The Ring 2001, a brutal physical match and the iconic moment of Kurt suplexing Shane McMahon through the plate glass that was set up for the King Of The Ring for the staging.”

“It should be very cool. Now, as of this evening or I should say as of this afternoon, the plan for the teams are the following. And this is all contingent on Roman Reigns returning and being cleared to return. Team Raw is scheduled to be Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe — Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle teaming up that’s pretty cool if you’re an Impact Wrestling fan. But that is the plan for Team Raw.”

“I was told this is all contingent on Roman getting healthy. He was we were told under medical care, he is doing better but he has to still finish getting over whatever illness befell him and he still has to recover and get back in ring shape. So November 19th gives him a couple weeks to do that. We are told that Team SmackDown, the word backstage at Raw tonight is Team SmackDown would be Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode, Randy Orton (who obviously already is officially part of the team), Shane McMahon, and AJ Styles.”

“So now you’ve got the potential of AJ Styles wrestling Kurt Angle and I will tell you now AJ Styles against Kurt Angle, their Hard Justice match which was a last man standing match I honestly think is the second-best match in Impact history behind the infamous AJ/Joe/Chris Daniels three-way from No Surrender.”

Survivor Series will include several matchups fans have wanted to see in a WWE ring for a long time. It might not even be on purpose either, but WWE is certainly giving long-time fans of Impact Wrestling an extra special treat in Houston. Only time will tell if these plans come together, but it looks like WWE is preparing for something pretty epic.
