A backstage segment on WWE SmackDown hinted at the formation of a new women’s faction involving Jade Cargill, U.S. Women’s Champion Giulia, and Kiana James. Michin was also featured in the segment, potentially setting up future interactions over championship opportunities. Scroll down to watch the segment.
The segment began with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton speaking with Cathy Kelley about her 216-day title reign. Stratton said she planned to continue defending and retaining the championship. Jade Cargill then approached, reminding Stratton that her foot on the rope had prevented Cargill from winning the title previously. Cargill said the story would be different next time, but Stratton replied that while the story might change, the outcome would remain the same before walking away.
Shortly after, Kiana James entered the shot accompanied by Giulia. James dismissed Kelley, saying they were “off the record,” despite the cameras rolling. She handed Cargill a business card and suggested giving her a call if she was serious about taking the championship from Stratton. Cargill responded that she would do it on her own terms and in her own way. James encouraged her to keep the card, and Giulia added, “Just in case,” before leaving with James.
Michin then appeared holding a kendo stick and asked Cargill if she planned to use the card. When Cargill said no and handed it over, Michin remarked that she might call James herself to get a title shot. The segment ended without further confrontation, but the interactions appeared to plant the seeds for potential alliances and rivalries. Click here for complete WWE SmackDown results.
