Possible WWE WrestleMania 41 Replacement For Rey Mysterio

On Friday’s WWE SmackDown, Rey Mysterio teamed with Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix to defeat American Made.

However, it was overshadowed by a potential injury to Mysterio, who was visibly struggling after the match and needed assistance from WWE staff to leave the ringside area. This injury seriously jeopardizes his scheduled WrestleMania 41 match against El Grande Americano, which is slated for tonight.

Bryan Alvarez provided an update on the situation to his subscribers on X, by noting, “I am told still no word on Rey Mysterio, but Dragon Lee is the likely replacement if he can’t wrestle. They could do Fenix, but my presumption is el Grande needs to win the first match and they probably wouldn’t want to beat Fenix so early.”

We wish Mysterio a speedy recovery.
