According to a report from Fightful Select, Kiana James is in Lexington and is slated to be backstage for tonight’s show. While it is not yet known if she is planned to appear on the broadcast itself, her presence is confirmed.
James has been out of action since June 2024 after suffering a leg injury. Her last televised match was on the June 17, 2024, episode of Raw, where she competed in a Money in the Bank qualifying match against IYO SKY and Zelina Vega.
The injury came at an unfortunate time for James, as she had just been drafted from NXT to the Raw brand in April 2024. Her main roster run was just beginning, and the long layoff halted her momentum.
