It looks like Brock Lesnar will officially be part of the SmackDown brand going forward and there’s a very good chance that he will be walking out of the 10/4 show as WWE Champion.
As noted last week, Lesnar will challenge Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship on the first Friday Night SmackDown on FOX on October 2nd.
There’s been a lot of talk in WWE this week about having Lesnar win the title on 10/4 because Lesnar is someone the FOX executives would like and a big title change on the first show would get people talking.
Lesnar has been added to the 11/15 episode of Friday Night SmackDown and I’m told that he will be added to more shows soon so he will be a focal point of the shows on FOX. Given that there will be no more Wild Card rule after the upcoming draft, it looks like Lesnar is officially part of SmackDown and his days on Raw are coming to an end. Lesnar is advertised for one more episode of Raw on 9/30 in Phoenix, just days before the 10/4 Friday Night SmackDown debut on FOX.
