As seen during the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view, a vignette aired teasing the return or debut of a mystery man.
After the vignette aired, Bray Wyatt and Gable Steveson trended online. Many have speculated that it's about Wyatt's return because of the way the vignette was produced. Others speculated that it's about Steveson because of the gold medal that was shown. However, all signs appear to point towards Edge.
Ryan Satin posted some screenshots from the vignette and you can clearly see a Texas license plate that says "Latino Heat," an obvious reference to Eddie Guerrero. In another shot, you see taped up glasses, which look like a reference to The Dudley Boyz. In the third shot, you see the gold medal (Kurt Angle). There were also crosses (Christian) and armbands (Jeff Hardy) shown.
All of those names listed are people that Edge has wrestled and beaten throughout his career. They also seemed to recreate some shots from the early Edge vignettes that led up to his debut in 1998 and the church shots appear to be a reference to The Judgment Day.
Edge has been off TV for a few weeks after The Judgment Day turned on him after they added Finn Balor to the group. If this is a reference to him then it looks like he will be back very soon.
