A couple of times during this week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, WWE did something during a match to make it look like there was some sort of glitch with the video feed.
In reality, it was a teaser for the return or debut of a WWE Superstar. The announcers did not acknowledge the glitch and nothing else was said to give fans a better hint of who is coming.
For what it’s worth, there was an image of what some believe is a ticking clock shown during the “glitch” which will fuel speculation that the mystery person is former Impact Wrestling star Killer Kross.

The next one was shown just before the Mandy Rose and Dolph Ziggler segment.
Kross always tweets out cryptic videos and here’s one he sent during SmackDown.
However, others pointed out that the click was actually the circle that can be seen on Ali’s gear. Check out the tweet below.
Ali has been wrestling on live events and in SmackDown dark matches but he hasn’t appeared on Friday Night SmackDown since December.
