For the past few weeks, WWE has been doing angles with Grayson Waller and Shawn Michaels in NXT. It started when Waller interrupted Michaels’ post-Vengeance Day media scrum after he had lost to NXT Champion Bron Breaker in the main event of the show.
Waller was kept off television before he returned. This week on NXT TV, the show saw Waller get into an exchange with Michaels backstage. It ended with Waller taking over the production truck, which Michaels did with Triple H in DX. Waller called out Michaels to appear on his talk show, the Grayson Waller Effect segment, in two weeks at NXT Roadblock.
This storyline has led to fans speculating where WWE is going with this feud and whether it will lead to Michaels coming out of retirement for another match.
The WRKD Wrestling Twitter account, which previously broke the news of Lita’s recent WWE TV return and the expected return of Trish Stratus, noted that there has been talk about having Michaels introduce top free agent signing Dragon Lee to NXT TV for a match with Waller on his behalf.

WWE has already confirmed NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez vs. Meiko Satomura and Tony D’Angelo vs. Dijak in a Jailhouse Street Fight for Roadblock.
