After being noticeably absent from the massive two-night SummerSlam premium live event, LA Knight is reportedly expected to make his return to WWE television on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw. The return comes just days after the popular superstar seemed to express his own frustration with his creative direction via a subtle social media interaction.
LA Knight Expected To Return On Raw
A new report from Cory Hays of BodySlam.net indicates that LA Knight is planned for tonight’s post-SummerSlam edition of Raw. His return would mark his first appearance since defeating Seth Rollins at the Saturday Night’s Main Event special on July 12 and his subsequent absence from the biggest party of the summer.
Seemingly Expressing Frustration With Booking
Knight’s absence from the SummerSlam card has been a major point of contention for his large and vocal fanbase. The superstar himself appeared to co-sign this frustration over the weekend. On one of his recent Instagram posts, Knight “liked” a comment from a fan who urged WWE to either push him into the main event scene or let him go to a company that would. The comment specifically told Paul “Triple H” Levesque to either utilize Knight as a top star or “let him go be a main event talent somewhere else.”
The combination of his absence from SummerSlam and his social media activity has only amplified the calls from WWE fans to see the charismatic star elevated to a permanent main event position.
