WWE will be presenting the Royal Rumble premium live event on Saturday, January 27, 2024, in Tampa, FL, at Tropicana Field, and the company is already in full swing of building the card for the show.
Announced thus far
Previously announced matches include the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches, with fans learning each week who has been added to the bouts. So far, the men’s bout includes Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Shinsuke Nakamura, & Bobby Lashley, and the women’s bout has Bayley, Nia Jax, Becky Lynch, & Bianca Belair.
Also on tap is Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight vs. AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton and WWE United States Champion Logan Paul vs. Kevin Owens.
Surprises?
Every year, WWE has surprise entrants in the Rumble matches, and this year is no different. Pwinsider reports Sean Waltman, Naomi & Liv Morgan are believed to be Royal Rumble surprises.
Morgan is expected to return soon from an injury that has kept her sidelined since last summer, while Naomi is expected to finish up with TNA Wrestling this month after Hard To Kill before returning to WWE.
Waltman, a WWE Hall of Famer, had been spotted at the Performance Center last week, and there was talk he would be in Florida for WWE over Rumble weekend.
