Several names have been spotted in town for WWE Royal Rumble weekend, including two former stars.
PWInsider.com reports that Matt Cardona and Mickie James were both spotted at WWE’s hotel in Indianapolis on Friday. Cardona is married to WWE United States Champion Chelsea Green. He has openly talked about wanting to be in the match, but there have been no reports that suggest he will be. Should Cardona be in the bout, it’s been kept close to the vest.
For James, she is the wife of SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and a coach on the upcoming WWE LFG series on A&E. She has made a past Royal Rumble surprise as the Knockouts Champion as she was working for TNA Wrestling.
Finally, Jorydne Grace was also spotted at the airport in the city. She is claiming on social media that she will be in Texas this weekend for her mother’s 50th birthday.
