Prognosis on Samoa Joe’s WWE return isn’t looking good

Injuries are a part of life for a pro wrestler and it turns out the injury bug bit Samoa Joe’s foot in a big way recently.

The Samoan Submission Machine injured his foot during a squash match on Raw which was a surprising place for it to happen. But as it turns out, that’s exactly what took place. Samoa Joe’s body has been through a lot during his career and by the time WWE got ahold of him he had already seen a lot of wear and tear. This is just another reason why it is so unfortunate that it took Joe so long to reach Vince McMahon and Company.

Now Samoa Joe is being pulled from the Royal Rumble match and he will be out at least through mid-March because he has been pulled from a scheduled Madison Square Garden match against John Cena on March 16th. Let’s hope he’s able to heal up on the Road To WrestleMania because he was sadly snubbed during last year’s big show in Orlando. But if he’s being pulled from a match in mid-March that can’t be a good sign.

Ironically, “snubbing Samoa Joe” was listed in the video below as something WWE could do to ruin WrestleMania 34, but if he’s injured you can’t really fault WWE for not including Joe in this year’s festivities.
