Randy Orton brutally attacked Edge on WWE Raw

Edge closed out this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw to talk about his return at the Royal Rumble.

Edge also talked about the spinal stenosis that ended his career in 2011. He said that he’s been working to make the “what if” disappear and he said that he’s been feeling better in recent years. Then he began to ask himself what if he decided to return home and that is when he got to work.

He noted that he got a second neck surgery and then he got in the best shape of his life so he could get back into the ring and end his career on his own terms.

He added that he saw new and familiar faces in the Royal Rumble match including Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Aleister Black, Matt Riddle and others. He added, “boys, hopefully I’ll see you down the road.”

Randy Orton walked out and said that Edge was the one who would pull him out of the hole whenever he was in trouble. Orton then proposed to have Rated RKO get together but it was a swerve because Orton hit Edge with the RKO and then he hit him in the back with a chair. Orton then delivered a con-chair-to to Edge’s head.

This is the set up for Orton vs. Edge at WrestleMania.
