Randy Orton: ‘I’d Love To Meet’ Tom Brady ‘And Hit Him With An RKO’

Randy Orton has addressed Tom Brady’s comment that WWE is “cute” when comparing NFL players to professional wrestlers. The multiple-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback made the comment during a recent episode of Impaulsive, after WWE’s Logan Paul described himself as “the level” when it comes to athleticism. A number of WWE stars responded to the suggestion that “it’s cute,” with Orton being the latest to comment on Brady’s words.

Speaking on ESPN’s Get Up, Orton stated that he would not be against meeting Tom Brady and delivering an RKO on the NFL star. The 14-time world champion noted that Brady’s assessment of the physical nature of professional wrestling stood out to him.

“I did see a recent podcast Logan Paul put on, he had Tom Brady on, and Tom Brady had a few things to say about pro wrestling. I think he called it quote unquote ‘cute.’ I’ve never met him, but I’d love to meet Tom and hit him with an RKO. I’d say he’d be at the top of the list,” Orton said. The RKO has become one of the most famous finishing maneuvers in the history of the industry, often used in viral clips that have transcended the wrestling world.

Paul Heyman has also made his thoughts clear on Brady’s comments, stating what he and Logan Paul would do to the NFL player in front of live WWE fans. For more on this, click here.

As the Road to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas continues, Randy Orton is currently focused on the Elimination Chamber match on February 28 at the United Center in Chicago. Orton qualified for the structure by defeating Solo Sikoa and Aleister Black in a triple threat match earlier this month. However, Orton suffered a setback on the February 20 episode of SmackDown, losing a main event match to Black after an attack from Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. The win for Black was his first over Orton since his return to the brand. Orton now enters the chamber for a record-breaking tenth time as he looks to secure a championship match for the spring.
