Randy Orton off WWE’s Survivor Series PPV?

The WWE Survivor Series, one of WWE’s “big four” shows, will take place on 11/20 from Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. This will be their second co-branded show since the recent brand split but one of WWE’s top stars may be off the show.

Randy Orton may be off the show because his wife is expecting a baby girl. The due date is on 11/22, which happens to be two days before the pay-per-view. Dave Meltzer reports that Orton has already been given that week off and he is being listed on match lineups beginning on 11/29. As of this writing, he is not expected to be at Survivor Series so the climax for his feud with Bray Wyatt may need to be held off until the December PPV. Orton is a busy man these days as he recently sold his 2,600 square foot home in St. Charles, MO for $775,000.

Orton being off the show probably works out for the better since this show will have traditional elimination matches that will probably go longer than regular one on one matches. This year’s Survivor Series will be headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. the returning Bill Goldberg. As far as the elimination matches, so far we know that Nikki Bella will captain Team Smackdown Live against Team Raw in a 5 vs. 5 women’s elimination match. Also, Heath Slater, Rhyno and The Hype Bros. have qualified to compete as part of Team Smackdown Live in a Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match.
