Fans of Randy Orton have tried to stay positive regarding his wrestling future after much doubt has come out regarding where things stand for his career.
Orton’s last match occurred when he and Matt Riddle dropped the Raw Tag Team Titles to The Usos in a Winner Take All match on SmackDown in May 2022. The initial belief was Orton would simply take time off due to a back injury before returning to turn on Riddle, leading to a feud between them.
Unfortunately, the injury was worse than expected, and Orton had lower back fusion surgery last November. There has been a lot of concern regarding his WWE career among those in WWE.
When a photo came out over the weekend of Orton looking jacked, some fans were optimistic about his future.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that there had been no recent update on Orton’s return timeline.
Meltzer wrote, “We’ve heard no wrestling update on him recently but his back injuries were very serious and a few months ago there was concern about whether he’d be able to return, or at best, it would be a long time, which it has already been.”
