Rare Vince McMahon Interview To Air Tonight In “The Real Hulk Hogan” Special

In what will be his first major television interview since his departure from TKO Group Holdings, Vince McMahon will give his first public on camera comments on the recent death of Hulk Hogan in the new documentary special, “TMZ Presents: The Real Hulk Hogan”. The program is set to premiere tonight, Tuesday, August 12, at 8/7c on FOX.

A Rare and Timely Interview

McMahon’s appearance is particularly noteworthy as the interview was conducted recently, specifically for this special, following the passing of his longtime friend and business partner on July 24. While McMahon also gave a speech at Hogan’s private funeral service, this will be his first on-camera, in-depth statement on Hogan’s death and their decades-long, complex relationship.

Exploring a Complicated Legacy

The documentary aims to provide a comprehensive look at the life of the late cultural icon. According to the official press release, the special will explore how “Hulk Hogan forever changed professional wrestling and became one of the biggest icons in America, but tragedies and self-inflicted wounds complicate his legacy”.

Friends, Competitors, and Champions Speak

The program will feature interviews with a wide array of figures from wrestling and entertainment who knew Hogan throughout his life. “Hulk’s closest friends, competitors, and fellow champions discuss how one man, Terry Bollea, changed pop culture forever,” the release states. In addition to Vince McMahon, the list of interviewees includes actor Sylvester Stallone and WWE Hall of Famers Mick Foley, Bill Goldberg, Jimmy Hart, and Mark Henry.

The special will also include interviews with current WWE Superstars. Confirmed to appear are Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Jacob Fatu.

How to Watch

“TMZ Presents: The Real Hulk Hogan” is scheduled to premiere tonight, Tuesday, August 12, from 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT on the FOX network. For those who miss the initial broadcast, the special will be available for streaming the next day on Hulu.

The special is executive produced by Harvey Levin.
