This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was up from last week’s 2,158,000 viewers. The week’s show drew 2,224,000 viewers. It’s better than last week but not by much but they were also up against the NBA Playoffs. It should also be noted that this week’s show was the second lowest non-holiday episode in the history of the show so WWE still has a lot of work to do to get the viewership back up to acceptable levels.
The drop from the first to the third hour was 18 percent. Again, that is an improvement from last week’s 19 percent drop but not a big improvement.
The company hoped to keep viewers tuned in by promising a WWE Championship match between Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan. The one thing that may have slightly helped WWE in the third hour is the Warriors/Rockets game went to halftime during the final 15 minutes of Raw.
Here is the hourly breakdown for last night’s show:
Hour 1 – 2,468,000 viewers
Hour 2 – 2,240,000 viewers
Hour 3 – 2,024,000 viewers
