Bo Dallas returned to action on this week’s Monday Night Raw and, to the surprise of many, he got a squash win in about a minute. The announcers pushed that we are seeing a different Bo Dallas. We are told that Dallas was put over strong this week because they wanted the fans in China to see him look good before his match with Bin Wang.
Dallas’ squash match will air on China’s PPTV and PPTV Sports this week and he is scheduled to face Wang this Saturday night in Shanghai so it makes sense to put Dallas over before his big match. From my understanding, the product is not as saturated in China as it is in the United States so Dallas is not viewed as a lower card guy there. Wang is the first-ever Chinese talent signed to a developmental contract and they don’t want to give him his first win over a top talent right away .
The 6-foot-3, 220 pound 22-year-old relocated to Orlando and has been training at the Performance Center. Obviously, he is someone WWE wants to invest in as they hope to expand more into the Chinese market.
