Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman’s return at WWE Hell in a Cell left fans with a lot of unanswered questions, especially because of the non-finish in the Universal Championship match between Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns. On WWE.com, the match was officially ruled a no contest.
Dave Meltzer reported on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that the finish of the match was not a last minute decision. The finish had been planned for some time and Brock Lesnar’s appearance was also not a last minute deal.
The reason why he is back is that he will be getting paid a lot of money to wrestle on the show taking place in Saudi Arabia on 11/2. No other details are available but it certainly looks like it will be a Triple Threat Match between Lesnar, Strowman and Reigns for the Universal Championship.
It certainly looks like Lesnar has started training for his fight with Daniel Cormier because he looked a lot lighter than just a month ago at SummerSlam. The date for that fight has yet to be announced.
