Mauro Ranallo’s contract with Bellator MMA expired in June, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter but worked on the last show in San Joes as a one-off. Bellator says Ranallo is still with them but he is not exclusive to them.
Ranallo posted the following on Twitter: “Dear MMA promoters, I have called some of the most memorable moments in the sport and would love to continue doing so full-time in 2019. Please contact my manager Frank Shamrock if interested in my services.”
Ranallo missed this week’s NXT TV tapings because he was in New York City to receive a Mental Health advocacy award. Vic Joseph filled in for him but Ranallo is expected back for the next set of tapings.
Ranallo has done so much to raise awareness and to help break the stigma around mental illness. There have been talks of him doing speaking tours around the country with his best friend Frank Shamrock.

Much love to my @shosports fam for coming out and supporting me last night as I received a #MentalHealth advocacy award from the FANTASTIC folks at @fountainhouse in New York city. Fountain House is the standard bearer for mental health care! #BiPolarRockNRoller #StigmaSmasher ❤️
