Several readers have asked about New Jack being edited off a chunk of ECW footage on the WWE Network. The reason for this is because most of New Jack’s matches had “Natural Born Killaz” playing throughout from start to finish so it was too time consuming to edit the music and quite frankly it’s not the same to air those matches/segments with a dubbed over song. For those of you that watched ECW in those days you would know that part of the reason that New Jack was so over with the crowd was because of the “Natural Born Killaz” song.
WWE could add the footage later on but they would have to buy the rights to the song. If they do decide to dub in the song then it would take a lot of work on the production side and they’re already overworked as it is.
