There has been a lot of speculation as to why Rusev has been off WWE TV as of late.
However, according to a report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, “The Bulgarian Brute” has been off of TV simply because creative doesn’t have anything for him at the moment. Rusev hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since January 20 on Monday Night RAW. Since, he has missed the Royal Rumble and two weeks of RAW tapings.
With that being said, it seems that Rusev’s storyline with Bobby Lashley is now done. Rusev has been active on Twitter lately, shooting down rumors going around from fans as to why he’s been off TV, denying any speculation that he’s injured.
