WWE sent William Regal, NXT Champion Finn Balor, Charlotte, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to appear at the San Diego Comic Con with Mattel today. Here are some of the highlights from their panel:
– Sami Zayn was not wearing a sling on his injured shoulder. He mentioned that he did not have a timetable for his return yet, but he’s looking to be back in action late 2015 or early 2016.
– Mattel revealed that they would be releasing special edition figures of Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Sting from The Great American Bash 1990 and a “Defining Moments” release for The Undertaker in 2016. Also, the toy company is working on new figures for Stephanie McMahon and Tyson Kidd, among other WWE Superstars.
Finally, figures of Balor, Charlotte, Owens, Sami Zayn, Bayley, NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks, The APA, J&J Security, The Godfather, Hideo Itami, Kalisto, The Ascension, British Bulldog and Dean Malenko are scheduled to be released soon.
