Recent WWE live event was a ‘logistical mess’

WWE kicked off its post-Christmas tour on Monday that runs through Thursday starting with house shows at Madison Square Garden and in Columbus, Ohio.

However, WWE talent dealt with travel issues. As noted, talent going to the SmackDown event at MSG dealt with their flights being delayed.

For those working the house show in Columbus, some couldn’t even appear including Alexa Bliss, Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins, and Becky Lynch, according to Fightful Select.

It was described as a “logistical mess.” The United States Championship matchup between Seth Rollins and Austin Theory was scheduled to take place at the Columbus house show, but was nixed.

Damian Priest and Johnny Gargano were brought in to replace Rollins and Austin Theory in the main event.

WWE is giving talent time off this coming weekend for New Year’s Eve.
