Recent WWE match had ‘a lot of positive reception’ backstage

There were several matches booked on this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, but one match stood out to many backstage at the event.

For the first time since WrestleMania 39, where he scored a singles win over Logan Paul, Seth Rollins worked his first televised match on this past Monday’s Raw by squaring off with The Miz in a singles match.

There were a lot of fans online praising the match and how the two stars stood out from the rest of the pack on the show with their performances.

Many wrestlers backstage at the show shared that belief about the match. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that there was “a lot of positive reception” for the match backstage.

The report added to the previous rumor killer from the WRKD Wrestling Twitter account regarding Rollins having no plans to leave WWE that “Rollins and WWE have no issues.”

Although Miz came up short in the bout, he did take to Twitter to demand that fans ‘put some respect on his name.’ He also referred to himself as Monday Night Miz.
