Recently Released WWE Star’s First Match Stopped Due To Injury

Priscilla Kelly, formerly known as Gigi Dolin in WWE, made her return to the independent circuit on June 14 at Wrestling REVOLVER’s Cage of Horrors event. Her first match since her WWE release was against Zachary Wentz but was stopped prematurely due to an apparent injury.

Following the match stoppage, Kelly took to social media to address fan concerns and clarify the nature of the issue. She explained that it was not a new injury but a recurring problem with her kneecap that she has dealt with throughout her life.

“My patella came out of place. It does that from time to time. It’s an anatomy issue I’ve had my whole life, and I’ve managed to always work through it, even sometimes continuing matches after it happens. It’s not an “injury”, it just hurts a good bit and I have to “pop” it back in place. Now ya know. Sorry, guys,” Kelly wrote.

This was Kelly’s first in-ring appearance since being released from her WWE contract in May 2025. As Gigi Dolin in NXT, she was a key member of the popular Toxic Attraction faction and was a two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion. She reassured fans that she would make it up to them, indicating the issue will not sideline her from her post-WWE career.
