Released Superstar Booked For First Post-WWE Match

Former WWE Superstar Elektra Lopez, now wrestling under the name Karissa Rivera, is set to make her return to the squared circle. This news comes after her release from WWE in the early part of 2025.

House of Glory (HOG) Wrestling shared the exciting announcement on the social media platform X. Rivera will make her HOG debut during their special Puerto Rican weekend event. The show is scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2025, giving fans a date to look forward to her first appearance.

This upcoming match will be Rivera’s first time competing in a ring in 2025. Her last match for WWE took place in December 2024. During that time, she was part of the tournament to crown the first Women’s United States Champion but did not advance past the first round; Chelsea Green was the superstar who eventually won that new title.

Now going by Karissa Rivera, she has a fresh chance to show wrestling fans her skills outside of the WWE system. Having first started her journey in professional wrestling back in 2017, many will be watching with interest to see how the former WWE NXT talent does in this new part of her career with House of Glory.
