Green was released from her WWE contract back in April along with several other wrestlers due to budget cuts. She is a under 90-day non-compete clause and won’t be free to sign with other promotions until after Wednesday, July 14.

Green has since launched her own podcast. She does have a history with Impact as she worked there from 2016-2018 as Laurel Van Ness where she became a Knockouts Champion.

When she was first released by WWE, Impact Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore publicly reacted to her release on Twitter, which made fans think she could be headed back to the promotion. Her fiance, Matt Cardona, also works in Impact.
