A recently released WWE star has made her return to the squared circle. The former Jakara Jackson, now wrestling under the name Mara Sadé, competed in her first match on the independent scene since being let go from WWE as part of the May 2 talent cuts.
Sadé, who was with WWE for nearly three years after signing in 2021, returned to the ring on Friday, June 27, at a 4th Rope Wrestling event in Paris, France. In her first match back, she was victorious, teaming with Tiara James to defeat JGU & Rhio.
Following the event, Sadé took to X to comment on her return and revealed that she also created her new entrance music.
“Just debuted on the Indy scene in Paris AND my official theme song ‘Find yoself’ by yours trulyyy,” she wrote.
Sadé’s last televised WWE appearance was at NXT Stand & Deliver in April, where she and Lash Legend competed in a four-way match to determine the number one contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Her final match for the company took place at the World At WrestleMania 41 fan convention.
