One person asked him if he misses doing wrestling and he replied, “I don’t.”
He did note that he watched the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view and he enjoyed it.
He said the following about Double Or Nothing: “Last night was fun. I work out every now and again and I set my TV, my phone or whatever and I watched a little bit of AEW. I don’t know if it’s legal to say. Is it legal to say? I’m looking at my lawyer, is it legal to say? … It was fun, man. It was fun watching, especially that main event. Did you all see that show, by the way?”
Rusev was referencing the Stadium Stampede that closed out the show. He added, “It was good. I had fun watching it.”
Rusev is currently under a 90-day non-compete after being released by WWE last month. It would not surprise anyone to see him pop up on AEW Dynamite once he becomes a free agent.
