Released WWE Star Set For Indie Wrestling Return In London

Former WWE wrestler Alba Fyre, also known as Kay Lee Ray on the UK independent scene, is being teased for her return to the UK indie circuit at Pro Wrestling EVE’s History Makers / Rule Breakers event on Friday, June 5, in London. Pro Wrestling EVE has been promoting the bout as a mystery challenge for Molly Spartan.

Per EVE’s promotional copy: “Molly Spartan has thrown out the challenge to someone for Friday June 5th, but is being ever so slightly vague with regards to this woman who she hopes will meet her in the middle of the ring at EVE 150 in London on Friday June 5th. All we know is this firey competitor is a former WWE Tag Team Champion, a former EVE Champion, and an absolute KiLleR in the ring. We’ll find out the answer to this mystery this coming Friday June 5 at EVE 150!”

Fyre was released from WWE in early 2026 as part of a broader wave of cuts to the women’s roster. The release marked the end of her seven-year WWE tenure, which had included multiple NXT UK appearances and her main-roster work with various factions and tag-team programs.

The promotion has been part of the broader UK women’s wrestling tradition that produced multiple WWE-bound talents across the past decade. The full EVE 150 History Makers / Rule Breakers card:
