Hit Row member B-Fab was one of the many names let go by WWE on Thursday evening. It was a surprising move considering she’d just been called up from NXT to the main roster with the rest of the group to the SmackDown brand as part of this year’s Draft.
Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer first noted on Twitter that B-Fab had signed a new deal a week ago. Dave Meltzer followed up in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter by noting that she’d signed a new main roster contract “in recent days or weeks." Either way, it was very recent.
Because she was called up and signed a main roster deal, she will now be under a 90-day non-compete clause instead of 30-day, which all NXT talent have.
For now, Isaiah Scott, Top Dolla, and Ashante Adonis are still signed with WWE. Before being let go, B-Fab was still learning as she only wrestled two TV matches in WWE with both of them being NXT. She got a win over Katrina Cortez and later a loss in a no disqualifications match against Elektra Lopez.
