If you liked some of what you saw on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, it's because of who has been helping out in recent weeks.
It's no secret that Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman have a ton of creative input with their current storyline but part of the reason why SmackDown has been improving is because of Triple H's influence on the show.
Ringside News reports that Executive Director Bruce Prichard was not at SmackDown this week. According to a WWE source, Triple H was "on hand" for the show and it looked like he had a "big influence" on the Rey and Dominik Mysterio angle with Aalyah and Murphy.
We first noted a couple of weeks ago that Vince McMahon is a big fan of Aalyah Mysterio and she was only supposed to be around for a short time but the writers have been told to write more for her because her segments and YouTube numbers are above average.
"Don’t be surprised if Vince offers her a full-time contract. He sees star potential in her,” a WWE source told WrestlingNews.co earlier this month. "You will see her in multiple segments on some shows going forward."
Ringside News also noted that Triple H had an influence with Jey Uso vs. Daniel Bryan match.
Bryan Alvarez noted earlier that the script for SmackDown was finished just a couple of hours before they went on the air on FOX.
