REPORT: Liv Morgan’s Injury Forces WWE To Make Major Changes To Evolution 2 Card

The legitimate shoulder injury suffered by WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan on the June 16 episode of Raw has reportedly forced WWE to completely overhaul its plans for the upcoming Evolution 2 premium live event. According to a new report from WrestleVotes, the card for the all-women’s show is being significantly changed.

Morgan dislocated her shoulder during her match with Kairi Sane, and there is currently no timetable for her return. The injury has had major “ripple effects” on the company’s creative plans for the summer.

During a recent Q&A session, WrestleVotes provided an update on the situation.

“I was told this morning that the injury has now caused a lot of the Evolution card to basically be scrapped, be ripped up, and start again from scratch because she was pegged for a big-time tag team match that is not going to happen now. That spot is gonna be filled by someone else and there’s a lot of ripple effects.”

The “big time tag team match” was expected to feature Morgan and her partner, Raquel Rodriguez, defending their titles against a reunited Bella Twins. Morgan had kicked off a high-profile feud by attacking the returning Nikki Bella just one week before the injury occurred.
