REPORT: Retribution will no longer appear on WWE SmackDown shows

Over the last few weeks, Retribution has created chaos on WWE television by appearing on both brands – Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown.

However, that will stop, at least on SmackDown. John Pollock of PostWrestling reports that Retribution is expected to only appear on Raw moving forward. Thus, they’ll be exclusive to Raw and will not be creating chaos on the blue brand.

Just on Monday’s episode of Raw, the group appeared around ringside during the match between The Street Profits and Angel Garza & Andrade.

When the attack broke out, Garza and Demi Burnett took off to the back to avoid being attacked while the group went after everyone who was at ringside including Zelina Vega. Fans were quick to pick up on the identities of the Retribution members who were part of the angle.

It should be noted that the group didn’t appear on last week’s episode of SmackDown nor this past Sunday’s Payback pay-per-view event. There was even a cryptic tweet sent out by an NXT star that teased the group would make an appearance at Payback. Whether that was just to get fans talking or plans changed, it happened.

With the group no longer being allowed on the blue brand, this rules out the speculation that Universal Champion Roman Reigns was the leader of Retribution.
