Dave Meltzer first reported last week that there was an incident between Scott Steiner and Hulk Hogan’s wife Jennifer Bollea. There weren’t many details available on what happened besides reports that it was an ugly situation. This led to WWE informing all of the security working at the SAP Center for the Hall of Fame ceremony that they were not to allow Steiner in under any circumstances if he showed up there. Steiner was in town for the WrestleCon convention.
TMZ reports that Jennifer Bollea flew into San Jose on March 26th and Steiner allegedly grabbed her at baggage claim and told her that he plans to “kill Terry” as soon as he lands. Sources from Hogan’s side say that Jennifer did not recognize Steiner and called Hulk immediately. Hulk took the next flight to San Jose and went with her to file a police report early the next morning.
Police are investigating Steiner for making “felony terrorist threats” and there is surveillance video that shows Steiner confronting Jennifer, allegedly. When reached for comment Steiner told TMZ, “Typical Hogan. He’s just a punk.”
It should be noted that Steiner has been tied up in a court case with TNA after the company sued him in 2012 claiming that he was in breach of his contract for comments made about Hogan, Eric Bischoff, the company, and others in the company on his twitter account. Steiner counter-sued claiming that he was not in violation because his deal with TNA expired and he turned down an offer to sign a new deal. That lawsuit from Steiner was dropped but I believe there is another lawsuit by Steiner where he alleges that he was injured by Jeff Hardy in a match where he claims Hardy was in no condition to perform. So if Steiner made the threats then the lawsuit filed by TNA could be the reason why.
