According to the PWInsider report, the belief is that Rollins injured his left shoulder during his main event match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia. The injury is thought to have occurred when he landed awkwardly while executing a coast-to-coast dive on Rhodes, who was hanging upside down in the turnbuckles.
While there has been no official word from WWE on the nature or severity of the injury, Rollins was seen sporting a sling in a photo with a fan after the event and was also wearing it backstage before Raw. He is expected to undergo further testing in the coming days to determine the extent of the damage.
This is not the first time that Seth Rollins has been forced to the sidelines with a major injury.
