REPORT: WWE And Alexa Bliss Are “Far Enough Apart” That People Don’t Expect A Deal To Be Made

The chances of a return for Alexa Bliss shortly are not looking good, based on a new report.

PWInsider.com first reported initial plans for Bliss to return several weeks ago on Raw in San Jose. A storyline involving The Wyatt Sicks had been pitched as part of that return. Creative was told to drop all plans for Bliss as WWE and Bliss are in a contract dispute.

It comes down to Bliss’ side thinking she should get a new deal while WWE wants her to work under the agreement she had been under before taking maternity leave in January 2023. They couldn’t make an agreement in time for the pitched return date, and Wyatt Sicks was sent to SmackDown.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported, “They were at least far enough apart that people are talking about not expecting a deal to be made.” Bliss has yet to comment on the contract dispute with WWE publicly.
