On Monday’s episode of Raw, WWE confirmed Trish Stratus, Becky Lynch & Lita vs. Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai & IYO SKY) in a six-woman tag team match for WrestleMania Goes Hollywood.
This comes after Lita and Lynch, with the help from Stratus, beat Damage CTRL for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. WWE also has plans for the Women’s Tag Team Titles to be defended at Mania. For more on those spoiler plans, click here.
It looks like Stratus will be sticking around WWE for the next few months as the company is reportedly planning a match for her at this year’s SummerSlam, taking place from Ford Field stadium in Detroit, Michigan, on August 5.
WRKD Wrestling on Twitter reports that the plan is for Stratus to go heel and feud with Lynch, leading to a match at the upcoming PLE. This account has broken past stories, including being the first to report that Lita was returning and confirmed reports regarding plans for Stratus.
The account wrote, “The long term plan, as of this moment, is that Trish Stratus will turn heel and work a program with Becky Lynch through SummerSlam.”
WrestleMania will mark Stratus’ first match since 2019, when she lost to Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam.
