REPORT: WWE Hopeful Injured Superstar Will Be Ready To Return For Royal Rumble

There is a positive report regarding the status of Penta, who has been on the sidelines for over a month. Penta faced off against Solo Sikoa in the “Last Time is Now” tournament on the November 24 episode of Monday Night Raw, where he suffered a shoulder injury during the bout.

Since that match, the WWE star has been rehabbing in an effort to return to the ring as soon as he is able to. According to a new report from Bodyslam.net, there is optimism within the company regarding his recovery timeline.

“WWE are hopeful that Penta is ready to return for the 2026 Royal Rumble,” the report states.

The report also highlighted Penta’s recent activity outside of WWE as a sign of his progress. On December 20, Penta appeared at AAA’s Guerra de Titanes event. Sources indicated to Bodyslam that “the company wouldn’t have had Penta get involved in any physical capacity at AAA Guerra de Titanes on December 20th if they were not hopeful that he would be returning to action sooner rather than later.”

The Royal Rumble is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. If cleared, Penta would be a potential entrant in the 30-man match as the road to WrestleMania begins.
