A new report has shed light on the contract status of several AEW talents, including significant interest from WWE in a few key names whose deals are believed to be expiring soon.
According to a report from Mark (@WrestleMobs) of BodySlam.net, there is major interest from WWE in both Danhausen and the tag team Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen). Their AEW contracts are believed to be up imminently, and sources indicate that “movement could happen sooner rather than later.” This confirms a recent report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, who noted Danhausen’s contract is expected to be up in July and also mentioned WWE’s preliminary interest in Private Party.
Chris Jericho’s deal is also up at the end of the year.. Renee Paquette, who holds both talent and producer contracts, has a deal that runs until August, as do Matt Menard and Angelo Parker of 2.0.
Despite online speculation, Jon Moxley’s contract is locked in through 2027, and there has been no internal shift regarding his status with the company. The focus now shifts to whether AEW can retain its midcard depth as several key talents face contract decisions.
