WWE NXT wrestler apologized for spoiling the outcome of winner take all match

Earlier this month, WWE booked a winner take all match between NXT Champion Adam Cole and NXT North American Champion Keith Lee on night 2 of the Great American Bash, which was a special episode of NXT TV on the USA Network.

The outcome was leaked by NXT star Saurav Gurjar, who is part of the tag team Indus Sher. It happened when he posted a photo that he shared in an Instagram Story before the match had aired on television.

Thus, it spoiled the highly anticipated bout that saw Lee end up dethroning Cole as the NXT Champion as he was standing tall with both titles.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported on Saturday that “Gurjar apologized for spoiling the results of the title-for-title match before it happened” at the last set of TV tapings.

Per the report,  there’s no significant heat on him, and there’s no punishment expected to be handed down for leaking the result. It should be noted that he and his partner have not been mentioned on TV since the incident.
